Sat Lav Public Toilet Finder

Privacy

Last updated: February 2026

Sat Lav works without accounts, profiles, ads, or personal tracking. This policy explains what limited data is used, and why.

1. No accounts or cross-app tracking

Sat Lav does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not build personal profiles.

2. Location access

Sat Lav uses your device’s location to show nearby public toilets when the app is open. Location data is used only for this purpose. Your precise location is not stored or sold.

3. Device identifier (local only)

Sat Lav stores a randomly generated identifier on your device to remember certain choices you make in the app. For example, if you dismiss a “possible toilet” (ghost pin), we use this identifier so that pin can stay hidden on your device.

This identifier is not linked to your identity, is not used for advertising, and is not shared or sold.

4. Backend services

Sat Lav uses Google Firebase (Firestore) to store and retrieve public toilet information, such as locations, attributes, ratings, and verification timestamps. This data relates to places, not people.

5. Public data sources

Sat Lav includes public facility information sourced from local authorities and open datasets. This data contains no personal information.
