Sat Lav works without accounts, profiles, ads, or personal tracking. This policy explains what limited data may be accessed when using the app and how it is used.
Sat Lav does not require users to create an account or sign in. The app does not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers, and it does not create personal user profiles.
Sat Lav may access your device’s location while the app is in use in order to display nearby public toilets on the map. Location information is used only for this purpose and is processed locally on the device where possible. Sat Lav does not store location history and does not sell or share location data with third parties.
Sat Lav does not collect, process, or store health information about users. The app does not request or access medical data, health records, or information about medical conditions. Sat Lav simply displays locations of publicly accessible toilets and related facility details.
Sat Lav stores a randomly generated identifier locally on your device to remember certain choices you make in the app. For example, if you dismiss a “possible toilet” (ghost pin), this identifier allows the app to remember that preference so the pin remains hidden on that device.
This identifier is stored only on the device, is not linked to your identity, is not used for advertising, and is not sold or shared with third parties.
Sat Lav uses Google Firebase (Firestore) to store and retrieve public toilet information such as locations, accessibility attributes, ratings, and verification timestamps. This information relates to places and facilities, not individuals.
If users submit updates to toilet information (for example correcting details or adding new locations), those updates become part of the shared public dataset and do not contain personal identifying information.
Sat Lav includes publicly available facility information sourced from local authorities and open datasets. This data contains information about locations and facilities only and does not include personal information.
Sat Lav does not maintain user accounts and does not store personal user data. Location information used by the app is not stored by Sat Lav.
User-submitted updates to toilet information become part of the shared public dataset and are retained in order to maintain the accuracy of the map data. These updates do not contain personal identifying information.
If you believe a submission contains personal information or would like to request removal of data, you may contact the developer using the details below.
